About Dr. Joyce Kahng
Dr. Joyce Kahng is an award-winning Cosmetic and Restorative dentist and the owner of Orange and Magnolia Dental Studio, a luxury boutique dental experience in Orange County, CA.
She completed her Dental education at the prestigious University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 2010, and completed a General Practice Residency at Jacobi Medical Center affiliated with the Albert Einstein School of Medicine. She also served as an Assistant Clinical Professor for 5 years at USC’s Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry.
Dr. Kahng brings a unique empathy forward approach to her patients, combining the art of smile design with “wholistic” care that helps her patients smile from inside to out. She utilizes the latest quality materials and state-of-the-art technology to deliver minimally invasive smile transformations that restore and enhance a patient’s smile while preserving as much tooth structure as possible. She is sought out nationally for her signature No Prep Veneer method and custom designs each smile to be cohesive within the patient’s unique facial structure.
Dr. Kahng has been recognized by her colleagues for her passion and skill for dentistry and has been featured as an expert in Vogue, Allure, Forbes, Glamour, and more.
Dr. Kahng is a former Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Southern California Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry from 2014 to 2020. She is passionate about mentoring future dentists and was awarded as 2018’s Outstanding Faculty. She also worked on the Admissions Committee to select the best candidates to gain admission into this prestigious school.

Staying Current
Each year Dr. Kahng takes many hours of continuing education courses, at conferences and meetings, as well as staying abreast of the latest published research findings. Knowing it’s essential to stay current on developments in oral healthcare, she seeks out courses that will most benefit her patients and puts an emphasis on those that are not sponsored or influenced by industry. She has taken courses in the Kois Curriculum, and has advanced training in Invisalign and Cosmetic Dental procedures.

DENTAL OUTREACH
Growing up in a Christian household, giving back is a priority to Dr. Kahng. While in dental school, Dr. Kahng and 3 other leaders headed an International Mission Trip to Fiji for a team of 30 dental students to treat hundreds of villagers. During the weekends, she also participates in the AYUDA program, supervising dental students as they volunteer to provide dental care for underserved children at elementary schools throughout Los Angeles and Orange County.
WHEN AWAY FROM THE OFFICE….
When not caring for her patients, Dr. Kahng spends as much free time as possible with her 2 year old son. She believes in living a healthy lifestyle and enjoys Refofrmer pilates, getting massages, and binging Netflix shows with her husband, who is also a Dentist. She also schedules hours to write for her blog, and create educational videos for both Instagram and Tiktok.
